I have always been so fascinated by ancient Egypt and have been wanting to do a painting like this for a long time. This is my version of Isis and Osiris. There is a tragic story behind Osiris and Isis, and how Osiris became the God of the underworld. This image is how I like to think of them, young and in love before they became gods. I looked at some old papyrus images of them for refference. The clothing is a bit different from the references that I looked at. I have two signatures in this work one is my regular and one is painted in Hieroglyphics on the vase.
The sketch for this was done in Painter, the painting was done in Photoshop.
I really like the concept of this picture. I love the way the leaves are painted in the background. I also love the way you have done the lighting which makes the characters really stand out. Amazing image, keep up the fabulous work!
Isis and Osiris have always been my favoryt gods couple Your drawing is soooo nice !!! The backgroun is beautiful and the colours are very nice. The only thing I dislike in the hole is the two vases in the front but the rest is beautiful enough
